Fridge Brilliance

  • Sue's intended fate as a kitchen drudge in "The Micro-World of Doctor Doom" makes a lot of sense, apart from Doom being terribly sexist (which he is, even for the 60s): Her powers are best suited to espionage, but you only put people on that duty you can trust. How could Doom possibly trust her to operate independently on his behalf?

Fridge Horror

  • Doctor Doom steals a missile from the Baxter Building, and tries to fly it back to Latveria. However, since Reed had to remove and repair a component, Doom crash-lands the missile in the middle of New York instead. While the Four and the commissioner rejoice that Doom failed to make a good getaway, they don't consider how many people the explosion could have killed.
