Given Mike and Chris' loop takes place over the same week Mike tries to force Chris to go sober, Chris will have to relive his withdrawal syndromes for, presumably, all eternity, without relief, making his fate all the more horrifying.
Judging by all the dates on the tapes Aaron and Justin find that the camp have been hoarding, some of which go back as far as the 1900’s, the camp has been trapped in the time loop for nearly 100 years by the time Aaron and Justin meet them, and will have to live in it indefinitely until or unless the entity finally gets bored of them. While the idea of being trapped in a time loop is already horrifying enough, imagine being trapped in one that only resets after 10 years. 10 years of knowing you’re trapped forever and will die a horrible death at the end of each loop. 10 years of knowing you’re stuck doing the same things for entertainment, being unable to grow or change, or have a final death. Now imagine that every 10 years for nearly 100 years and so on.
