• The continuation of a story seemingly tragic in it's totality told in Grisaia no Kajitsu: Amane's version of her backstory is depicted as a straight horror with from her point of view, her classmates have almost literally turned into "ghouls" as Kazuki describes, complete with gaunt, demented depictions. When we later discover what happened right after Kazuki's "sacrifice" to make way for Amane's escape as told by Kazuki herself, everyone appears to look completely normal, albeit disheveled. This proves to be a mark of Kazuki's personality. Despite condemning her cannibalistic classmates' actions, she in the logical way she does still understands their desperation and still sees them as human to the point of rushing to give medical attention to one of the wounded who minutes ago was apparently trying to kill her. The tone is much distanced from the straight horror scene Amane recounted which was understandably so, given how much more prone to emotional outbursts she is because of her age and personality.
