Fridge Brilliance

  • Making Dick Grayson a sociopathic killer actually makes sense when you see how he was treated in All-Star Batman & Robin, the Boy Wonder.
    • Loops back into Fridge Logic when compared with Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, though, where Bruce's internal monologues referencing Dick are vastly softer than Bruce's comments in this book, despite the events Bruce spitefully references predating the previous book.
      • Easily explained. In Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Bruce is regretting his prior treatment with a slightly nostalgic / Old Shame view. In this, after he murdered several friends and brutalized Catgirl, Bruce just let his anger and old hatred out.
  • When Dick falls to his death, Bruce for a moment seems to revert to his TDKR characterization and actually looks saddened. Despite having relapsed back into his ASBAR personality, it seems he still is capable of feeling guilt for how he treated Dick.
