Kuzuryu's crippling injuries in both System Restore and Dangan Ronpa not only seem to parallel each other as a Call-Back but because of Body Motifs both can seem to make both rather poetic. He lost his left eye for being blind to how he and Pekoyama would act when confronting Koizumi and Pekoyama not seeing him trying to save her in the chaos of her execution before and now he lost his hands trying to save the life of his "right hand man" who was killed trying to force him to act and "bloody his hands", not to mention that the latter means he has to rely on those around him to help him, which is something he hates doing. The latter also being able to protect him from his attempt to kill himself with a blade to "atone" can seem almost eerie considering Pekoyama's association with swords due to her talent.
Nanami's confrontation with the ultimate Impostor in their cabin is certainly one of these as the plethora of parallels to Mondo's own PTSD triggered attack on her father Chihiro was said by the author to be unintentional.
When Souda accidentally listens in on a conversation between the Impostor and Gundam his immediate reaction to what he first hears makes sense as Impostor did tell him he had basically "spared" him before when planning out the third case so it suits him as much as it does the person who is actually being addressed.
