Why doesn't Stella live with her family? So it is implied that Stella works in town and the reason she only visits the village on holidays is because the town is quite far away. However, we also learn that Freya's (and thus Stella's) dad works as a chef at a restaurant in town. Which negates the town's distance from the village given that Freya's dad has to drive to town and back every day. So, why can't Stella (and in extension, Lulu and Laura) just car pool with her dad and live at home? They could save a lot of money doing so.
Stella might have a tendency to work overnight on outfits. So she might just prefer to live closer to work.
Gotta remember that as the oldest, Stella is the only Chocolate Rabbit child who's an adult (she's most likely somewhere in her 20s, meaning there's an over decade-long age gap between her and Freya or Coco, depending on which of the latter two kids is older), so she's old enough to live on her own.
