Fridge Brilliance
- The name change of Bolgan's weapon when tempered, from gluv (his initial weapon), to Gluv (learning about capital letters) and finally Glove (the proper word). As wanting to improve himself mentally, Bolgan's gets sharper as the weapon gets better.
- In the scene where Jowy pretends to sacrifice Jillia, the "sacrifice" has two purposes. The obvious one, the one shown in game, is to boost morale by showing their queen's willingness to give her life to the Beast Rune. However, the other one is that, by very publically "killing" her, he's ensuring that the people of Highland will think she's dead, thus keeping anyone from tracking her down to use as a figurehead in a Highland revival movement.
