Fridge / Sticky Dilly Buns

  • Fridge Brilliance: When Angel undergoes a Gender Reveal (see the Main Page for the comic), readers may note that, while most characters in the comic have referred to Angel as ‘he’, they, like the readers, have only encountered Angel recently, while Jerzy, Angel’s ex, has never used a gendered pronoun for Angel — and although Jerzy is now gay, he's acknowledged a bisexual past...
  • Fridge Logic: This is the sort of comedy that always goes more for laughs than for perfect plot logic, but for a particularly glaring example, note the scene in which Amber notes that the "Swirly-Go-Round" she loves to receive from Gary is something which Dillon originally taught him as a kissing technique. They therefore decide that Dillon should continue to give Ray kissing lessons, in the hopes of turning him too into a Swirly master (apparently successfully, as it subsequently turns out). However, even assuming that Ray shares Gary's talents, there's a logical problem here; Dillon's lessons to Ray are supposed to be about acting technique, so how could he explain including complex but invisible tongue-work? Also, the previous time Dillon kissed Ray, it awoke the latter's latent bisexual tendencies, confusing Ray badly; surely the better the kisses Dillon gives Ray, the greater the risk of scrambling Ray's brain and causing some kind of disaster. In the end, things worked out pretty well — but the logical problems were never mentioned.
