Fridge / Sorry to Bother You

• Fridge Brilliance: It makes sense that Cash's attempt at exposing WorryFree's equisapiens backfired. He did it on a Sadist Show that thrives on humiliating participants, so it's unlikely that this revelation would disturb any viewers.
• Fridge Horror: Lift says he wants to make Cash "the equisapien Martin Luther King Jr." and offers him a five-year contract as this Mole in Charge. Even going by the Hollywood History of King's noteworthiness as an activist beginning with his August 1963 March on Washington where he gave the "I Have a Dream" speech, he was murdered barely more than four and a half years later in April 1968. Lift might well have planned to off Cash, thus getting out of his end of the contract, before the five years were up.
• Fridge Logic: Detroit tells Cash that she and Squeeze did "everything but" have sex. This makes a lot more sense when you remember that Squeeze all but confessed to having contracted an STD on live television earlier in the film.
