• All the powers are based off of stuff to do with computing.
  • Sam's powers are based off the way processor calculate some things in advance.
  • Gloria is a literal search engine/find function.
  • Winston can cut and paste object.
  • Benjamin is a literal system restore point.
• The story is told in first person by Sam. So how can he tell you about Sophie but not his parents and family? Because he meets Sophie again.
• The Vanishing Mansion is based off a virtual machine. Even the initials are the same.
• Amy gives away who Benjamin shouldn't trust. She gives everyone in the book a nickname. Even Sam is short for Samson. Who's the only characters she doesn't give a nickname too?... oh yeah Winston and Adam.
