- Why are Hanzou and Musashi introduced so late in the game? Because they're expys for certain Japanese figures, and would likely be foreign to the mostly western-fantasy setting. Plus, Runefaust/Protectora is the easternmost known continent, so if they sailed over from further east, that's where they'd end up.
- Why is Arthur the only centaur knight who can use magic? Because he lived Manarina, aka the same mage school that Anri was attending. Despite being a laundryman, he had to learn something while in there.
