- The Japanese translations (Toho and Takarazuka) has Artois telling Olympe his touch will turn her into Venus. He's trying to make her drink an aphrodisiac, which is named after the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, passion, and procreation, Aphrodite. Her Roman counterpart is Venus.
- The Japanese word for aphrodisiac, however, is 媚薬 (biyaku), where the two characters would respectively mean "flirtation" and "medicine," and in this case have no relation to Venus/Aphrodite.
