Fridge Brilliance

  • It's implied during The Coward King that Duck Dodgers was one of the shows filmed on Mars as a facade for the Ballyhoo tests, so it's likely that Daffy Duck was either forcefully transferred to Earth after having his memories wiped by Velm or he was forced to go into hiding after word got out about the Ballyhoo experiments. It's likely that Homer had his family transferred to Earth for their own safety after Bugs had made contact with the people of Mars.
  • During the first fight between Scoob and Bugs, Pop mentions that nobody has seen two commanders fight in 100 years. Then you remember that Mick had been imprisoned for 15 years, meaning that he was likely keeping the Toone Commanders in line to prevent such a thing from happening.
  • Velm being tortured makes perfect sense. She was the one who trapped Mick for 15 years, so it's highly likely getting revenge on her for that was just a bonus in addition to his plans to take over the Earth.
  • The reason why Scriptatron is mentioned in "News" despite being a minor background detail in previous pages? Cartoons were banned globally several chapters ago which ensured the cancellation of any new TV series or animated movies, and only made the oversaturation of mediocre A.I movies all the more noticeable. And that's before the implication that the movie industry in this universe has stagnated to the point that a mere speech by Mick is enough to go viral.
  • So why are the commanders Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo/Shaggy, Betty Boop, SpongeBob Squarepants and Homer Simpson? Because all of these characters were the face of a popular cartoon in different eras of animation history. Further still, it's only logical that the top commander would be Mickey Mouse, whose parent company, Disney, is known for buying out various properties and being one of the biggest media conglomerates on the planet.
  • Why did Swiper's Ballyhoo evolve while he was in the past? Past!Swiper was gaining Ballyhoo energy, filling up his unlock/evolve Ballyhoo meter. Then Present!Swiper got dumped into the past and got the same amount of Ballyhoo energy again because he's the same person as Past!Swiper.
  • Why did Shaggy say stuff that began with a "Z" when Velma wiped his mind? Because his memories hadn't been fully implanted yet - everything that hadn't finished being implanted got the bits of it that had been implanted wiped but then the rest of it came in!
  • Why did Toone have cloning tech? Quite a few Goofy shorts that involve sports have the entire cast look like Goofy!
  • During "Perspective" cartoons are banned worldwide and it's speculated by the newscasters that it might due to theories about an alien invasion or aliens who really hate cartoons. Several chapters later in "News", Mick announces his takeover of Earth but so far no mentions of cartoons being unbanned have been mentioned or least only cartoons that would grant Ballyhoo to Mick's faction. Then you remember that Mick's true agenda is to eradicate ALL Ballyhoo and Antihoo, and it might actually be possible that Mick's takeover had already begun far earlier than the viewer had known.

Fridge Horror

  • What happened to Pat during the 20 years that Future!Pat ends up with the left half of his face severely burned off when he comes back to Mick?
    • Let's see... that was 15 years before part one and then there's a two-year Time Skip between parts one and two. It'll happen in at most three years In-Universe.
  • Considering how YouTube views work and the viral nature of Mick's speech in "News", there is the implication that some people may have watched Mick's speech more than once due to forgetting it because of Format.
    • That's a good thing. Why's it in Horror? In the Emergency arc, it's revealed that the memory erasure was only the memories of the video itself.
    • Of course, there's the implication that Velm's Format isn't perfect with Shag even questioning if Format really deletes everything when it erases memories. Which means that Format might only work on a conscious level, and that the memories might still exist subconsciously. This might explain the man in Emergency who rants about the mouse in the White House and as such decides to attack Five, believing that all Toones are evil.
  • The implication that Toones across the world can commit crimes with impunity because of Mick's takeover, meaning that they own the police and there's nothing you can do about it if a Toone decides they want to harm, or kill you or your loved ones. Just imagine if characters such as The Joker or Eric Cartman existed in the universe and decided they wanted to torture someone for insulting them over a slight.
    • Even worse because it's not just the villains, even characters who were heroes in their series are capable of horrific deeds. Granted, since characters seem to really have only been acting in the cartoons, it's more of a crapshoot as to if a Toone is good or evil, though that hardly makes it much better.
    • Mick would let all the Toones on his side go loose. He wouldn't let Toones who are not on his side go loose.
    • As it turns out, Mick's takeover also prevents humans from physically harming a Toone, and he has control of all law enforcement and national militaries, very much ensuring that if humanity tries to rebel against their new overlord, Mick can simply give the order and have humanity put down quickly.
