The Genie is still out there, able to control anyone's mind. She's found by a man who rejects her before she can take control, but how long before someone else finds her, and uses her to dominate the world, or who is used by the Genie for her own ends? In fact, now that the Genie's out of the ground, and can get phone signal, there's presumably nothing stopping her calling up anyone she wants and controlling the world, or getting revenge on Walter and Agatha.
