Fridge Brilliance

  • Cliff proves just as quick to track down Charlie after she uses her credit card in the second episode as predicted, but not just because he's a Scarily Competent Tracker with a powerful boss; Charlie's preferred PIN number is 1-2-3-4, so any of her digital footprint is defended only by the weakest possible password.
  • Gavin dies while performing what is usually Ruby's scream note at a high pitch. He went out on a high note.
  • Doxxxology never had a chance of making it big. Judging from their aesthetic and the apparent ages of the band members, they were performing Glam Metal in the age of Grunge. They were behind the times already in their peak; getting a single hit was a miracle.
  • Doxxxology are also not particularly smart as the laws of copyright include rights to performances of material as well as writing of the material. Clearly, they screwed up somewhere in getting their rights completely lost to the song they popularized.
  • The penultimate episode ends with Charlie laid up in the hospital, in no shape to go anywhere, and Cliff outside in the parking lot, reporting that he's found her. In other words, a Cliff-hanger ending.
  • While travelling with Charlie, Cliff recites the bridge from Blues Traveler's "Hook". It's got plenty of connections to the show and her situation ("Make a desperate move or else you'll win"), but it's notable that he cuts off right before the penultimate line: "I ain't telling you no lie."

Fridge Horror

  • Yeah, Marge doesn't have a murder charge hanging over her head anymore, but she does deal illegal prescription drugs. What happened to her? Did her uncle track her down?
  • In episode 1, Natalie sent an e-mail to Sheriff Parker, the FBI, the CIA and Oprah. In episode 5, it's pointed out that the FBI e-mail she added when she had her doubts about Parker wasn't a real address (and the CIA and Oprah ones likely aren't real either). However, Natalie received a business card from Sheriff Parker directly, so that e-mail address was most likely correct. The sheriff likely had the evidence to help the authorities lock Kazimir up from the first episode, but did nothing with it.
