The judges' Monkey Morality Pose has the President of the Assembly covering his ears and the Commissioner for Animal Affairs covering his eyes, for they don't want to hear or see any truth in Zira and Cornelius' arguments that Taylor is a proof of human intelligence, not an abomination created by Zira. Dr. Zaius in turn is covering his mouth, for he actually knows the truth of how humans and apes changed places on Earth, yet he chooses to remain silent about it for the sake of preventing humans from causing further destruction.
The Reveal that the planet was Earth All Along - Taylor's last line "God Damn You All To Hell!", condemning the past humans for starting World War III. Given that humans and apes have switched places, maybe God already has.
Relatedly, SF Debris points out that Taylor is a staunchly rational man, dealing only in logic, reality, and cold hard facts. Yet here, at the end, all he can do is literally call on God to damn to Hell the ones responsible. The final exclamation point on the slow destruction of everything Taylor was over the course of the film.
Near the beginning of the movie, the crew wonders why and how the ship malfunctioned to make them land in the water on what they think is an alien planet. Aside from Stewart's pod failing, the ship likely works exactly as intended, only the landing zone where they were supposed to land is long gone so they instead crash.
