  • Rarepons don't wear helms because the animal ears and head make it impossible for one to fit on top. Same reason why Dekapons and Megapons can't wear them and opt for other forms of armor.
  • Why does Summon break fever? Don-DoDon-DoDon does not follow 4 beats, and as we know drumming outside of rhythm breaks fever.
  • Why doesn't Hatapon change helms? As one of Almighty's most devout followers, he has absolute trust in his diety and trusts they will keep him safe.
  • Ever wonder why in Patapon 3 there are Drum Shouts? The Almighty Patapon is the one giving the commands, now that Kamipon and the Hero are one, they directly shout out the commands as opposed to relaying them to Hatapon.
  • Despite not having any combat purpose (Hatapon no longer has to relay the Almighty's drumming to the army), Hatapon remains in the army because he's the one summoning Djinns. It's implied Hatapon summons Miracles with Patapon 2 showing the Miracle symbol on his banner. Logically, he would be in charge of the actions for the Don DoDon DoDon song.
  • Drums are shown to be imbued into the PSP controller. When you press the button, you're essentially banging the top of the drum.
  • Why do players find it easier to hit perfect beats in the third game? You're now a playable character. You, the Patapon god. It's possible there's some delay when Hatapon hears your commands, so now that you're on the battlefield you can give out orders as precisely as you want them to be.
  • Why is Uberhero mode activated on specific commands while Hero mode requires a perfect beat only? Hero was shown to be rather arrogant, so he might not understand that you don't want him to attack while you order him to dodge. As the Uberhero, you know exactly what you want to do and do it precisely.
  • Despite being killed in Patapon, Gong returns in the sequel. How? Well, you did pick up his helm after he died, which might be his cap. Even if you picked up his scythe, the Zigotons may have recovered it themselves.
  • In the hunting mission of Manten Gorge "Search for a Lucky Star", Gold Hoshipon can be rescued from the belly of a Picheek every time that the skies aren't cloudy. This slowly makes more sense the longer you think about it: You're told multiple times that the stars in the sky shine the brightest here. Gold Hoshipon would definitely stand out more than the rest, being a star the size of a patapon. Now let's look at a Picheek; They're essentially very big toucans, but still capable of flight. On a clear night, it'd make perfect sense for a creature like that to mistake Gold Hoshipon for a bug or fruit and fly up to chomp on him.
  • At first, the fact that "Pata Pata Pata Pon" is the command for marching forward may seem a bit random, but if you pay attention, you'll notice it has the same rhythm as the cadence "I don't know but I've been told!"
  • In Patapon 2, after beating Fenicci for the first time, the level description changes to mention that Chef Rah Gashapon has always wanted to cook a dish using it's ingredients, despite the fact that you wouldn't have met him yet by this point in the game. What appears to be Gameplay and Story Segregation at first turns out to be foreshadowing: After a few more rematches, Fenicci eventually drops Rah Gashapon's cap. Indicating that he likely went hunting for the legendary bird on his own and died to it in the process.
