Fridge Horror

After O'Neil has Dr. Lazarus start checking into a list of unusual deaths over the past six months, she goes back further and finds that the number of deaths have been rising over the past eighteen months (28 in the last six months, 24 in the six months before that, and 2 in the six months before that). Meaning that as the drug took its toll on the workers, more and more of them became psychotic and died. Assuming that Sagan's breakdown and assault of the sex worker was the first time a third party was hurt, then it was only a matter of time before a worker went psychotic and got other people injured or killed. Or worse, damaged or destroyed some key piece of equipment that the colony needed to keep its population alive. If Sheppard had won, there was a possibility that he'd end up facing a Karmic Death courtesy of the very drug he was selling.
