Why does Suzaku know that Nina has a dead mother and was raped when they rarely talk to each other? Milly probably told him due to his position as Vice-President. It would have been very frustrating for Suzaku to have a council member refuse to work with him due to his race and as Vice-President could have used it as grounds for Nina's dismissal. Note how Milly always makes sure to referee the two of them.
