  • It might seem odd for a 400 something year old vampire to be going to high school (even if his fellow students are no younger than 19). But it makes sense when you consider why he might be going. He may have been alive for so many hundred years that he'd know all he needed, but society changes fairly quickly, along with technology and social trends. So it would make sense for him to go back to school every so often so he could catch himself up on any changes he may have missed.
  • Why is Liam's skin purple (besides giving him a color scheme like the rest of the cast)? Blood loss. Given the bite marks on his sprite's inner right arm, it can be assumed he was made a vampire and not born one (if such a thing is possible). When the blood is unable to deliver enough oxygen throughout the body, usually due to lack of red blood cells, the skin can turn a bluish-purple color. Add a bit of artistic and stylistic license, and purple skin would seem a perfectly natural color for a vampire to have.
  • In Second Term, if you buy the Lore Coupon item and use it to embark on Faith's route, it's counted as a SMARTS check, and Joy calls her "a smart choice"; meanwhile, choosing Hope is a BOLDNESS check and gets Joy telling you you made "a bold choice". This isn't only reflective of the fact that Faith is the smartest of the witches while Hope has the most bold and independent personality - it's reflective of the fact that Faith's route reveals her to be a down-to-earth, practical, and open-mindedly understanding personality who isn't looking to take things too fast and wants to know you can get along as surprisingly-normal friends foremost, thus making her a "smart choice" to try a partnership with; while Hope's route deals with how tied her identity is to the Coven's many intense adventures and the personal issues she needs to grapple with as a result, thus making a decision to commit to her more of a "bold" one.
  • The "Two Lights" events, which are full of Shout Outs to Twilight (usually considered the Vampire-Werewolf Love Triangle), are always started by the group's vampire and werewolf: Liam and Scott.

  • For the most part, Liam's antisocial behavior is Played for Laughs. However, the Second Term DLC gave us his backstory with the Coven, which involved the second Hope dying because of something he did. Which makes you wonder: how much of his antisocial behavior just an act to make sure that no one gets hurt because of him again?
