Fridge / Monster! (1999)

• Fridge Brilliance: Despite knowing how things work, Lloyd still does things that draw attention to himself and tries to warn the police even though he knows they won't believe him. The curse forces the town to run on horror movie rules, and while Lloyd is aware and can exploit them, even he likely is effected by it. Further brilliance comes from the fact he's passing on the role of protagonist to Travis, and the crazy old man who warns the protagonists/police of what's happening and isn't believed is another horror movie cliche.
