The basic plot is that Mickey has his clothes stolen by a monkey, resulting in his friends Goofy, Minnie, and Donald mistaking the monkey for him and vice versa. The short ends with Mickey's friends disappearing and being replaced by three alligators wearing their clothes. While it is likely that Goofy, Donald, and Minnie are just suffering what Mickey suffered and are simply left naked because the gators stole their clothes, an equally valid assumption is that the gators are wearing Minnie, Goofy, and Donald's clothes because they ate them offscreen.
