  • The series' subtitles and theme all references the difficulties available in maimai. The first maimai theme is blue, the Easy difficulty color is blue. GreeN is for Basic, and ORANGE is related to Advanced, which is colored yellow. PiNK is related to the red-colored Expert. And finally MURASAKi or Purple represents Master.
    • Accordingly, the next installment is MiLK, representing the color white in Re:Master.
  • Level 15 is a very special difficulty. As of BUDDiES only two charts are rated Level 15; the Re:Master charts of "PANDORA PARADOXXX" and "系ぎて", and they represent their respective era in both theme and unlock method: "PANDORA PARADOXXX" is the final boss song of Finale and it's serious and dark, just like what a True Final Boss is supposed to be, befitting for something that can only be unlocked after you go through a series of grueling trials. On the other hand "系ぎて" comes from BUDDiES, the theme is bright and uplifting, and the unlock method (at least in the Japanese version, in International version it's avaliable by default) is to play with other players who have unlocked it, starting from the KOP participants. Its name means "to connect (each other)", which both its unlocking method and its debut game's theme fits. BUDDiES is not the end of the Deluxe era, but it's safe to say that it will take a long time for another level 15 chart to drop.
