Fridge / Iron Sky

Fridge Brilliance:

• In this movie, Klaus Adler constantly says "Heil Hitler". While this may be intended as a show of his disrespect for Wolfgang Kortzfleisch, it takes on a new meaning when you watch the trailer for Iron Sky 2 and see that Hitler is still alive (albeit not on the moon) in that universe.
• When the world comes together and launches the fleet of spaceships to fight the space-Nazis, the only one who didn't send a fighting ship was Finland. Although not explicitly mentioned in the movie, at the end of WW2, Finland was the only European Axis country that left the war relatively unscathed, and free of Soviet domination in large part because of the military aid it got from Nazi Germany.
