• Why do Siris and Isa only teleport on the way out of an area but take the long way there of walking or riding the merchant's boat? The clue comes from Isa returning from a mission by teleporting and cutting back to the deathless body reconstruction cutscene: there is no teleport technology, they are in fact incinerating themselves where they stand and then using the deathless rebirth to reconstruct a new body back at their base. Because the process takes only a few hours by the third game, it's clearly quicker to do this than physically traveling back through standard means. Evidence of this is actually present in the first level: The effect Siris uses to return from Larioth is identical to the one for the Soulless Raidriar incinerating himself.
• With all the gold spread in the entire world waiting for you to click and collect, where is there none of it in the final boss' room? The Worker of Secrets is preparing to launch and leave behind a charred, lifeless world. He has no intent on spurring you to repeat the cycle over again by giving you gold to grow stronger with each iteration.
