Fridge Horror:
- At the end of the film Nick takes Dalton's camera because there's a lot of good memories on there. However Vincent also filmed Carly sleeping as well as Paige after she'd been killed. Carly and Nick are in for a shock when they go to watch it.
- The matter-of-fact way Bo tells Wade and Carly about Trudy Sinclair and her horrible fate. It qualifies for this trope because Bo was talking about his own parents.
- What if the "Town of Wax" did eventually open and a relative of one of the missing people recognised them?
Fridge Brilliance:
- A meta example. Paris Hilton helped market the film with t-shirts that said "See Paris Die". As in, she managed to hook members of her Hatedom to see her film just so they could see her being killed onscreen.
- Why does Nick dislike Wade? Because he's protective of his sister and Wade is potentially costing her a huge career opportunity by refusing to move to New York with her.
