Fridge Brilliance
- In your fifth year, Rowan accuses you of never hanging out with them unless you need help. When you think about it, there is some truth to this. Because Rowan is the easiest friend to level up, they're likely to be the first friend the player maxes out. After this, you never have to have lunch or play gobstones with Rowan again. Thus, the player only really sees Rowan in classes (and you don't even sit with them in the new classes like history of magic and DADA), and when the game forces you to interact with them, which again is rarely.
- As painful as it is to be greeted with Rowan's grey-out smiling portrait every time you open the friendship tab after their death, it makes sense. Even if it's been a long time and you're just passing a glance to look at other friends or to go to the romance tab, there will always be a part of you that will never be able to forget Rowan. Even if life goes on, the Player has never forgotten about Rowan and neither will you. After all, Rowan may be gone, but friendship is forever.
- Snape isn't nearly as cruel or unfair in the game as he is in the books, to the point he's practically a different person. This makes sense; while he can be very unfair to you (there is a 3/4 chance you're not in his House, after all), you're not exactly the son of the man he hated with every fiber of his being, nor are you his friends or the child of the people he was clearly expecting Voldemort to go after. You're just an overachiever who can't keep their nose out of business that doesn't concern you.
- Lying to Snape is rarely a wise idea. Of course - he's a skilled Legilimens.
- Chiara is pretty much the only person in class to take Divination seriously and is eager to learn it. Is she particularly anxious about her future because of her Tragic Dream of becoming a Healer as a werewolf?
- It's actually not that Out of Character of Remus to trust a child with the transformed Chiara: he was even more irresponsible about his own condition in canon. The Prisoner of Azkaban would have been much less eventful otherwise.
- Quirrell mentions video games and how they run on batteries to MC as an incredible revelation. Other than general wizarding ignorance of Muggle artefacts, maybe the word "battery" retained the meaning of "group of cannons
" to wizardkind (having been used for centuries before the 1692 International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy separating the Muggle and wizarding worlds), making them wonder what kind of game is powered by cannons.
- In the Quibbler TLSQ, Ismelda and her goons intend to capture Chiara before the full moon with the Full Body-Bind Curse. Piecing the dates together from dialogue, her ambush was at least three days before the full moon. Are they planning to keep Chiara paralysed and trapped somewhere for that long?
- How long has 'R' really been manipulating and grooming the Player for their own plans? The Player started indirectly interacting with 'R' sometime in Year 3 (when they found Jacob's room). They (or at least Rakepick) didn't seem to know that the Player was an Animagus, so the earliest they started paying attention might have been sometime in mid to late Year 3 or Year 4. 'R' forced the Player to search for the Cursed Vaults, orchestrated a plot to force the Player to get a Patronus, Rakepick taught them a very specific set of spells (even tried to with the Unforgivable Curses), forced them to get a new wand, tried to kill one of their friends (and succeeded), the Circle of Khanna idea came from Merula, got the Player to learn Wandless Magic via Merula...has the Player's thoughts ever been their own? Have we simply been a pawn from very beginning?
- The Mahoukotoro Wizard has stated that 'R' will only ever tell the Player what they wanted them to know. It's not even far fetched to think that they knew the Player was going to infiltrate the meeting in Year 6 (especially since Merula might've fed them this information and was with the Player when they found this info) for the sole reason to tell them about their potential role. They might've even allowed the Player to find out Merula is the mole.
- With that mind, how long has Merula been a mole for 'R'? The earliest sign was Merula being the one who 'found' the note at the end of the Patronus sidequest and passed it on to the Player. Had she been working with 'R' the whole time at Hogwarts? Was the only reason she sought out the Cursed Vaults is because of 'R'? Is Merula only a pawn to them too?
- It's even scarier to think that Rakepick, who had always played up to be The Dragon to 'R', is actually only a very small player in 'R'; they seemed to have made her think she was a lot more important than she really was. It's crazy to think that someone as manipulative and cruel as Rakepick had only ever been a pawn to 'R'. She might've been Sacrificial Lamb to the Sunken Vault, for the sole purpose of testing if the Player would be ruthless enough to trap her in the vault, as indicated in her dialogue. They seemed to know what was inside it, as Merula the mole was able to think of a 'couple things' they wanted to do with the curse in the vault.
Rakepick: (Referring to the Player letting her in the Vault) Regardless, you've made the right choice for yourself and 'R'.- If it's really true that the Player had been playing into 'R's hands this whole time, then they have every right to be afraid for the upcoming Wizengamot Trial. They might as well have been an Agent of 'R', even if they hadn't been aware of it.
