Fridge Brilliance

  • The way is Dusty designed when she caught Manny's cold in "Manny's Sick Day". Yes, she was given a red spot right where her eyes and mouth meet. She even gets red eyes.
  • Not all the tools are alive. Some are just lifeless and sit there. It's like there's some science evolved.
Fridge Horror
  • Tools with teeth. Dusty had a similar case twice where she reveals her teeth that is almost always hidden.
    • Even the cover of Dusty's book in "The Great Donate". It features a saw with a broken tooth - even worse, he is getting it looked at by a doctor.
    • Even in "Amigo Grande", when Pat's family portrait was shown. Yes, his father was revealing his teeth.
    • Not to note Flicker had teeth too, but only in an official artwork.
  • The fact that tool families exist. Pat's family and a family of crescent wrenches (Lily who is the mother, Lefty who is the father, and Junior who is their son). This shows that the tools are capable of reproduction.
    • Pat's family is scarier because there is a sledge hammer. How can she have that come out of her?
  • The tools grow and age. Pat said this when Stretch measured him.
    • Just imagine a tool a growing in front of you or the next morning you wake up and your hammer is bigger...
  • The tools act younger than their given "age".
    • Dusty is supposed to be a teenager but has a less convincing voice.
    • Despite the fact Flicker is supposed to be three, some episodes portray him as an infant while others portray him as a toddler.
    • Stretch is the opposite, He acts older than his age.
    • Lily and Lefty are the only ones that act their age (being adults). But they don't always act their age, on occasion (once or even twice per episode) they will get so excited to the point where they act like teenager fangirls or fanboys (mainly Lily but Lefty did it once). She will often act like a teenager when ever she gets too excited after that, Lily will revert back to her usual adult-like behavior.
Fridge Logic
  • If Manny doesn't allow the tools to go in the water. Then how come in? He probably only allows them in water for cleaning at specific times. "The Cowboy Cookout" the tools there swimming in a tube of water at the beginning of the episode and later in a lake?
  • Why is Gary a mechanic if he's a teenager? He could be around nineteen and working for family.
  • How does Felipe have a stomach?
    • In Breakfast of Champions, it shows that the tools have a stomach. Even Felipe's "stomach" was growing. Rule of funny?
  • Why does Pat have a Sledge hammer for a brother?
  • The episode "Felipe's Hiccups" has a screwdriver contract a case of the hiccups. He's shown drinking water at one point. While the other tools have mentioned eating things, breathing, and the like, this is one of the most blatant examples. But then, they are talking tools...
