Fridge Brilliance

Fridge Horror

  • What would have happened if each of the Gremlins took the Sunblock solution? (Pun not really intended.) This could also count as Fridge Logic directed at the Brain Gremlin for not even considering the idea after injecting it into Bat Gremlin.
    • I wish to point out that you could make a drinking game out of how many times the rule about bright lights is completely ignored shortly after that scene, and also that the Electric Gremlin destroyed all the Gremlins, NOT bright light.
  • Who would eat a salad of vegetables freshly plucked from Vegetable Gremlin?
  • The potential consequences of the electric gremlin escaping into the main power lines. Imagine grabbing something from the fridge for your late-night snack, and as you close the door and walk away, huge sparks start shooting out of it as the electric gremlin emerges behind you. Literal fridge horror.
  • What happens in the genetics laboratory often enough that it warrants storing automatic weapons there?
  • if you think about it, Gizmo is killing his own children!
    • His evil children.
  • Word of God is that Mohawk is the literal reincarnation of Stripe, while some of the others are at least implied to be reincarnations of gremlins from the first movie, complete with all or at least most of their memories. Let that sink in: even if humans have no afterlife, Gremlins have the potential to live forever. Now imagine if they used their past experiences to avoid making the same mistakes as their predecessors. Just like how a disease can evolve immunity to vaccines, Gremlins could be nearly impossible to kill, forcing humanity to move to some desert planet like Tatooine or Dune.
    • Or you could kill Gizmo too. Problem solved!
  • Speaking of Mohawk, drinking the Spider Serum not only turns him into a gremlin-arachnid centaur, but it somehow makes his upper half grow larger, beyond the proportions of his original gremlin form. Were the Splice of Life geneticists trying to create giant spiders?
