Fridge / Frankenstein

• Many people will be quick to correct someone who refers to the monster as Frankenstein. However, considering that it's Victor's surname, and that the monster could by some stretch be considered his child, it wouldn't be far fetched to imagine that he'd share a last name with his creator if he had ever been given one.
  • Alternately, Victor Frankenstein is the title character and the monster in question. Adam didn't start off violent or cruel in the book, he was made that way by Victor. In all adaptations where Adam is treated as a Tragic Monster it is Victor's fault (or Victor's equivalent) that the story goes From Bad to Worse.
