So... if fantasy writers affect Faery.

"In particular, J. R. R. Tolkien created the current Elves." Tolkien isn't exactly "current" in 2020. What if Terry Pratchett's interpretation of Elves is now the dominant one, in which case anyone entering Faery is in for a brief and painful time? Or if the Elves are the ones from Alan Garner and have no love at all for humans and a few grievances to work off? Or... owing to leakages from this world's fantasy fiction, all three exist simultaneously and are slugging it out among themselves? The logic of the book implies this.
