Fridge / Doctor Who: The Forgotten

• The War Doctor's not amongst the incarnations appearing here. For Doylist reasons, that's because he wasn't introduced yet. For the Watsonian part, though, the fact is that the Doctor deliberately blocked off his memories of being John Hurt. He must've done so well enough that Es'Cartress wasn't able to find them—and the TARDIS, knowing what he wanted, followed suit by not bringing that up!
  • Also, the bits regarding the Eighth Doctor conveniently don't contradict the War Doctor's later appearance. For example, in Doctor Who 50th Prequel "The Night of the Doctor", he mentions that he "helps where he can," so perhaps the Eighth Doctor's section simply falls under that.
