But historically it would be little over a single month until his death on 29th July of the same year. One can infer that, in the DWU, Vincent ‘originally’ committed suicide due purely to depression a few months later than in the history we know, but seeing the vision of his only friends in life seemingly coming to a nasty end pushed him over the edge sooner than he was supposed to be, causing the suicide we know.
