Fridge / Dinosaur Revolution

• Fridge Brilliance: The small pachycephalosaur modeled after Prenocephale in End Day seems to small to be a baby Pachycephalosaurus. Then it hit me... in Alberta, Canada, a fossil of a tiny pachycephalosaur (3 feet long) with fused skull bones was found and named "Microcephale". THAT'S what it is!
  • Except "Microcephale" is from the Dinosaur Park Formation, which is about ten million years older then the setting of End Days, considering it takes place in the Hell Creek Formation. The pachycephalosaur in the show is more likely Sphaerotholus, which some paleontologists consider to be synonymous with Prenocephale (which is what the model was originally based on).
