• The computer simulating itself, and itself within itself, and so on (like during the simulation in the "one-second projection" scene), might seem difficult/impossible. However, there might be a trick to reduce the computational load. Instead of simulating how its own hardware at time X runs the algorithm for time Y, it can just run the algorithm in the real world for time Y first, measure its outputs, and insert them into the simulation for time X.
