Fridge Brilliance
  • Gentlu's plans only revolves around defeating the Cures. Harming the fairies and civilians is out of the question. Why? Because she's the most gentle of the villains.
  • In some episodes after Ran becomes a Cure, she's either treated much nicer than before or shows very admirable behaviors. After being a Memetic Loser, which only got worse after the season had to go in hiatus two episodes before Ran's joining of the team, the creators decided to give her a bit of a slack.
  • Cure Precious's name is likely a nod to breakfast being called the most important or precious meal of the day.
  • Amane's Team Mom tendencies are likely something she developed due to the fact her parents practically don't exist, and she's more level-headed compared to her teammates.
  • Godatz's lair along with his hologram are cat-based, which makes a lot of sense considering his (Fennel) former master Ginger had a strong cat motif..

Fridge Horror

  • The idea that the Bundoru gang has ruined the taste of foods from an entire culture (specifically Latin America as shown in Ep 2). How many businesses have been shut down throughout the entire world and how much of a culture's heritage has been destroyed by their actions? What's to say that people stop making the food if they keep tasting terrible? What happened to those who were either in the process of eating or had already eaten the food in question when it became terrible?
  • It's not just the food itself, it's the livelihood of the kitchen staff and everyone involved. When you see rows upon rows of restaurants closed down, all the people who worked in them are effectively out of a job, purely since some faceless entity wants to hoard all the recipes in the world.
  • The fact that Ran's the source of most of the Recippins being captured; just how many other food bloggers are responsible for the capture of Recippins around the world (like Latin America) because they wanted to share things with others?
  • Amane Kasai's situation. Due to mind control, she can't find enjoyment in food any more, with her stealing Recipippis from the school cafeteria and a restaurant she was just using, despite that it would mean she's tainting food she herself may well have eaten.
  • Episode 11 shows that Amane doesn't fully realize what she does as Gentlu. In other words, she's forced to commit crimes while barely realizing what she is doing. When she will be defeated by the Cures, she will obviously have a lot of guilt. Do you remember the reactions of the previous seasons villainesses who were Brainwashed and Crazy after snapping out of said brainwashing for good? It involved Suite Pretty Cure ♪'s Siren going into (a self-imposed) exile and Go! Princess Pretty Cure's Twilight having a mental breakdown! And they were both teenagers.
    • How about the fact that practically no one knows that she's brainwashed or have not even noticed that there is something wrong with her eyes? What are her parents going to think when they learned some outside force brainwashed their daughter?
  • In Episode 31, Yui was disguised and switched roles with Princess Maira and has accidentally gotten involved in a failed kidnapping incident masterminded by Maira’s cousin. But there are several implications, effects and outcomes caused by Yui’s decision to switch roles with Princess Maira:
    • Yui didn’t take a few things into account while planning to break free from captivity: the watching foreign government agent would have seen Kome-Kome appear along with the transformation lights and her Cure Precious form from the surveillance camera during her escape and rescue. Imagine his reaction from seeing Kome-Kome and the transformation lights and Cure Precious herself and how would the Japanese Government and Island of Isuki would react when they hears of the kidnapping incident and of how a commoner got involved in foiling the kidnapping attempt through a role switch with the Princess.
  • When Godatz finally activates the Recipe-Bon, He then demands the world bow down to him or quite literally starve to death. He literally holds the entire planet's food supply to ransom purely since Ginger didn't name him his sole successor.
