  • Fridge Horror: Exactly how many people died on the continent when Griffon "destroyed" it? And for that matter, how're they able to keep enough food inside?

  • Fridge Logic:
    • Why doesn't Emperor Griffon re-destroy the origin points?
      • At first, his goal was simply to obtain all three atlamillia. His actions were first and foremost to disrupt things just enough to cause the other atlamillia to show themselves, and Max and Monica would not have been able to come to him ten thousand years in the past without the future tech of places like Luna Labs. Hence why Griffon was also focusing his efforts on Max and Monica's times (since that was when the atlamillia were) when he could have focused on many other points of history to have a greater destructive effect on history. Once he obtains all three stones, that's when he goes completely berzerk-o.
    • So where do all the other people who eventually build the things like the Jurak Mall and Gundora workshop come from? Does the world become more populated?
      • The settlements are much larger and more populated than they appear in-game, since it would take too long for the developers to build a realistic city simulator on top of their already-complex Action RPG.
      • Rubber-Band History is in full effect in this universe, wherein certain events are destined to happen as long as the bare minimum requirements are met. For example; Perhaps in the original timeline a the Gundora Workshop was just one part of a technologically advanced empire. While that empire no longer exists thanks to Griffon's meddling with history, the Gundora Workshop is destined to happen anyway as long as someone with enough skill and resources is around to say "Hmm, you know what? This would be a great place for a factory!".
      • In the painter's side quest, you create a person from a painting. It's not unthinkable that the same is done through the next hundred years to bolster the population, as well as the occasional time traveler who can apparently have babies they leave behind.
      • It's also possible that, once the origin point towns were established, other people began traveling from Palm Brinks to stay. Many of the characters Max and Monica recruit from Palm Brinks have families—they could easily have moved out to Balance Valley or Sindain (hence why a few future characters, like the chef in Balance Valley, look so much like the people who you originally placed there). Plus don't forget that the Atlamilla do a century-long jump each time—the towns definitely grew and flourished between those eras!
