Given that the second game reveals that Jennifer's mother is a cult leader, why's she sobbing in the bar in the first game? Crocodile Tears? Actually, no - she's sobbing because she genuinely thinks that she might have just lost everything she's worked for her whole life.
Everyone you talk to in the intro to "Cursed" returns in some way. But what about the person who doesn't talk? Three options. He could be in the cult... or that undead zombie right outside the tavern. Of course, not knowing what happened to him is also scary in of itself...
Everyone's fairly awkward with weapons in the second and third game. Which makes sense - they're not combat professionals. Jennifer only takes a gun because she thought it was a good idea, and presumably didn't take much of a time to use it.
Randall can take a surprising amount of abuse before going down - yet can be killed in a cutscene by Jennifer's mother. Presumably? What happened was a discretion shot - she probably shot Randall just to take him down, then ensured his demise. It's fairly consistent with the other death scenes in the game. Randall however can still get a quick shot on her and continue whatever he's doing even if he tries THAT.
Randall's behavioral change from Cursed 1 to 2 and 3 can be explained by him simply getting older... and not being buzzed.
Spencer was stated to have been sacrificed in 2. So what's he doing in 3? Well... they didn't say how he was sacrificed! Perhaps that's how some of the monsters in 2 came about: Human sacrifice.
Cursed 1 takes place in 2008 and Cursed 3 occurs around 2022-2023. That's how long Spencer's been possessed. Who knows how he managed to lead someone to where he conducted his research in the past......
Were any of these creatures once people? One potential encounter in the second game is against some strange monster that appears to be wearing a shirt... it's no zombie for sure.
Is the house really that isolated, or were there others?
Suppose someone like say, a trucker or people on a road trip went through town before 2 takes place. They only need gasoline and... uh oh...they won't be finding any...
