• Fridge Brilliance: Most of Pete's stand-up performances on the show consist of weak amateur material mixed in with much better material from his real-life act, making his comedy underwhelming at certain points and good at others. At first this may seem like it's only there to blur the lines of reality and fiction, but it also accurately portrays the process that a beginner comedian goes through, trying out lots of different material before they find their voice and develop a strong act.
