• Ed provokes Phil heavily about the fact that he cheated on his frigid, controlling wife with a checkout girl. At first, it seems like Disproportionate Retribution to Phil's relatively benign comment, until you find out later that Ed had to raise his mother and his sister on his own because of his father's infidelity.
