One of these mix-ups is that Zack Underwood and Rufus think they're besties. Considering that Rufus's bestie is supposed to be his owner, Ron Stoppable, and both Ron and Zack's love interests are badass, red-head Action Girl teenagers, this new pair is hilarious on a coincidental level.
In "The Amphibia House", the last Luz sees of Anne and the Plantars is them getting eaten by a ravenous monster. Without any hint that they teleported out, Luz may believe they all died. Perhaps it was for this reason that a second crossover short "Back to the Swamp" was made, therefore giving Luz confirmation that they survived.
