  • Fridge Brilliance: In Episode 1, there's a moment where Aoi requested Akane "to fly a little slower". Why did her Royalty Superpower not work then? It's simple; she had made her request in the form of a question (not a command) along with Aoi intentionally focusing on listening to Akane's response. In her Flash Backs, Aoi did make several of her requests in the form of questions, but she wasn't aware of the true nature behind her power and was expecting to hear a "yes" anyway. This is what allowed her Power Incontinence to break out back then.
  • Fridge Horror: In Chapter 19, it was revealed every receiver of Royalty Superpower will have periods of Power Incontinence, called breakouts. It's not that easy to understand why Aoi thinks merely having the power of Compelling Voice would make her ineligible as King, provided she succeeded in defying Power Corrupts for many years—but think again what would happen when you combine her power with even a short period of absolute Power Incontinence. Aoi is smart enough to deduce the fridge horror in it, and too nice to accept what could happen.
    • The Fridge Horror goes even further at an anime-only bit in Episode 8A when she has a breakout. She has to pretend to have hay fever and put on Cool Shades and masks—apparently, the power incontinence potentially make any communication—even nonverbal ones—liable to that superpower. Provided this country is an absolute monarchy, it's horrifying indeed should she became the monarch.
    • Another example: if you think about it, the king is a terrible Royally Screwed Up and Abusive Parents, who turned the everyday life of his underage children into a nearly round-the-clock show, and the next ruler's election comes in the form of silly competitions by his children, after which the winner of the audience vote becomes the new king.
      • One could argue his goal was to encourage creative solutions to problems and encourage lateral thinking, which the kingdom would then see. Still doesn't change the fact that he put their lives on constant display.
