  • In Death Too Soon, it's said that General Miguel's formula causes people to age at the rate of about 36 days per hour. Given the time spans mentioned in the movie, it's six hours or so between him dosing the city of Portland with the formula, and then the cure being spread, meaning that everyone in the city is biologically about seven months older than they were at the start of the day. It's bad enough that the adults effectively get seven months shaved off their lifespan, but what about the children in the city? Kids can grow a lot in seven months, so that's the kind of thing that'd really be noticeable, and worthy of major freak-outs. To say nothing of any parents who suddenly go from having newborn babies to having ones that are seven or eight months old in a matter of hours.
