During the anime opening where the chorus kicks in, each of the main five has a moment in the spotlight before their character flips to show the difference between their behavior outside of work when they're behaving normally and during work when they're in character. Hideri's is the exception, as his portrait doesn't flip over, but that's because he's a guy who dresses and acts like a girl; he was already in character long before he stepped foot into Café Stile.
Maika's is also notable as the transition from her normal behavior to her character archetype is relatively subtle, especially in comparison to Kaho, Mafuyu, and Miu. That's because she doesn't really need to change her behavior all that much in contrast to the rest of her coworkers. She was already great at appearing sadistic unintentionally with her looks and clumsy behavior; all that's left for her is to change her mindset so that she's doing it intentionally.
