In "Call It a Day", the Bear sings a List Song about all the things we smell likenote "What's That Smell?", which would also be featured in a few more episodes., including cornflakes, milk, warm pyjamas, soap, clean clothes, etc. There's no way one person could smell of all that—that's when you realise, he's not just smelling you. He's smelling all the viewers at once!
One of Tutter's catchphrases is "Oh, hickory dickory!". This has a double meaning; it could refer to hickory cheese, or a Nursery Rhyme: "hickory dickory dock, the mouse ran up the clock".
Several pictures and flashbacks show that Treelo has been at the Big Blue House since he was a baby. While baby Treelo is absolutely adorable, this comes with the implication that he's an orphan, particularly since Bear has seemingly adopted him.
