The final boss theme for Axiom Verge 2, Nephropidae [1], is a more intense remix of Amnesia [2], the theme for Ukkin-Na from Axiom Verge 1. The final boss is a near-perfect mirror of the Vision boss in Ukkin-Na - a large and strong creature battling a damageable but unkillable humanoid, and the main character battling a fake of themselves. The main difference is that in AV1, you play as the large creature, Vision, i.e. Trace as a Variant, in a Hopeless Boss Fight against the unkillable humanoid, the hallucinatory Trace - and in AV2 you play as the unkillable (since she just respawns right there in the arena) humanoid, Indra using Anuman, fighting against the large creature, Amashilama's Siuna. The battle's end is even signified by a third party intervening, in AV1 it's one of the drones delivering Trace to Ophelia, while in AV2 it's Indra's original body choking out/restraining Amashilama so Indra-Anuman can activate the bomb.
