Fridge / Asterix the Gaul

• Fridge Horror: Some characters probably never received the antidote for Getafix's hair growing potion, like the ox merchant who left camp before the Romans learned its effects, or the dog that drank potion from the ground and was almost instantly converted in a legged fuzzball. Did they just grow hair at a rapid pace until they died?
  • Getafix clearly states that the effects of the hair-growing potion aren't permanent (hence the need to think up a fake antidote before the Romans put two and two together). It's safe to assume that the ox merchant needed to wrap his beard around his neck like a scarf, but he probably got rid of it after some days of relentless growth.
