Fridge Logic

  • It doesn't make sense that Livan was the only one not to die in the avalanche, given how close in proximity he was with everyone else.
  • Livan had no reason to kill Irina. She was hardly even stopping him from going to the time machine, thus making it a huge Moral Event Horizon for him to do so. It is hence strange how the game attempts time and time again to excuse his actions, even having Irina's ghost say that he's a good person at heart without him ever even apologizing.

Fridge Brilliance:

  • The nature of the options needed to achieve the good endings of some routes (namely Belph's, Yuras's, and Livan's) seem counterintuitive. Belph's (putting up a facade and remaining in denial until the final dialogue choice) would only perpetuate Belph's issues and the distance between him and Elcia, Yuras's (always relying on him when needed) feeds into his martyr complex, and Livan's (refusing to rely on him aka the opposite of Yuras's), like Belph's, just reinforces Livan's issues and keeps a wall up between him and Elcia. That's the point, however: in order to overcome the characters' problems, Elcia has to emphasize them so that she can fully understand them and thus tackle the heart of them. Belph, for example—by acting in the way as him, Elcia sees things from his perspective and so eventually comes to realize that this attitude has to change.

Fridge Horror

  • Some of the routes contain some degree of this for the irrelevant Love Interests:
    • In the Land paths, even barring the Esoteric Happy Ending (confirmed by Word of God), Rexus remains trapped in the Present. Granted, he would choose to live there anyway, but like this, he doesn't have a choice in the matter and has to live worrying about the negative effects of staying in one dimension for too long. And without Elcia guiding him towards Essi, he might never end up finding her.
    • In the Land paths and Livan's Bad End, Ferim can't reach Elcia, either because she no longer has any reason to time travel or because she's dead. Regardless, it means that the timelines can never be restored, and so Ferim can do nothing but watch and wait for everything to be destroyed—for who knows how long, as Word of God states that the end won't necessarily come soon—knowing he's failed in his purpose.
    • In Yuras's route, regardless of the end, Elcia remains trapped in the Ice Age. Meanwhile, Belph in the Future is still stuck as the ORZ Corporate heir and has lost the only positives in his life, so there's not much stopping him from becoming suicidal like in his Bad End—except there's also not much stopping him from going through with it, as he wouldn't have a deal with Trole.
