As a Fridge subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

Fridge Brilliance

  • All For One keeps referring to Luz as the The Chosen One despite it being later revealed that she gained his Quirk by chance during the Mass Super-Empowering Event. In The Owl House episode "Witches Before Wizards", Adagast the "puppeteer demon" pitched this as part of an elaborate scheme for his own purposes. The Card-Carrying Villain is also using this tactic to con Luz by appealing to her I Just Want to Be Special wish to get him back to his Realm and perform a Villain Override on her.
  • All For One going for the “warts and all” approach with his first encounter with Luz is so in character for him who presents himself as Villains Never Lie, since will figure out his origin story eventually.
  • Luz is a very emotional person so her snapping in response to her friend’s death makes sense, as in moments of anger in the show, e.g. Lilith, had her shoot to kill. This is something All For One would take advantage of.
    • Even her arguments with All For One are by and large coming from an emotional place. Whereas All For One is extremely adept at molding such feelings and people.
  • When All For One claims to Luz he understands what it's like to lose control of yourself to rage when losing a loved one, he may have been telling the truth. He had Berserker Tears when he blamed the second One For All user for his younger brother's death after he bequeathed his Quirk and killed him for it.
  • Why would Luz take the names All For One and Toshiko Shigaraki? All For One did mention to himself he can More than Mind Control her.
  • It makes sense that All For One would want to take over The Boiling Isles. The self-proclaimed Maou the Demon King would find it fitting to rule over an actual Demon Realm.
    • This would also make sense why he would oppose Emperor Belos, believing him to be foolish. Emperor Belos is the supreme ruler of the Boiling Isles and is worshipped by nearly everyone there, a fantasy dream come true for any typical power-hungry despot, like All For One. Yet Emperor Belos is willing to throw that away in a Final Solution Evil Plan in favor of fame as Witch Hunter General, a frankly pointless position that no longer exists in the Human Realm. He had everything the other Big Bad wants in the Boiling Isles yet was too blind to see it because of his Fantastic Racism views.
  • Tyler Wittebane is a Politically Incorrect Villain who despises superhumans, queer people and non-whites. The second All For One, A.K.A. Luz Noceda, fits all 3 of those categories.
  • All For One seems to be molding Luz to have a Never My Fault attitude. After all, he doesn't want his new vessel feel emotions like a Guilt Complex and shame.
    • He also encourages her to use The Power of Hate and Pay Evil unto Evil, the only emotions he values are anger and hate, and could help him steal One For All as he intended with Tomura.
  • A lot of Luz's Quirks bare some semblance to Titan powers and Glyph magic in the show. The following:
  • Perry Porter is part of the Oracle Coven. Its likely he used his Seers magic to avoid his Underground City being detected by Emperor Belos and his Coven scouts.
  • All For One influencing Luz's emotions might explain why she took his villain name as her vigilante name and suggestible his choice of renaming her with his surname included.

Fridge Horror

  • If the soldiers didn't come to rescue Luz and the survivors when the girl was having a Superpower Meltdown, she may very well have not survived it when tacking down the governor.
  • How many people did the Wittebanes have killed with their superpowered assassins? And how long has Emperor Belos been in contact with his fanatic descendants since he gained access to the Human Realm?
  • Knowing the bastard, if All For One does get to his original Realm and confronts All Might again he's gonna reveal the Awful Truth to give him a Heroic BSoD that not only did he only gave his world only a few years reprieve from their world's Big Bad but is also an Unwitting Instigator of Doom to another world, ruining many lives including the teenaged girl with the Diabolical Mastermind in her head.
  • It's also entirely possible that many of the cops Luz killed weren't actually corrupt but Just Following Orders. Now many have lost a parent, sibling and/or spouse from this incident created by a corrupt sheriff with a sense of Misplaced Retribution and a Sinister Minister blinded by Fantastic Racism.
    • Hell, there probably wasn't even a right choice to begin with for Luz at the supermarket attack. Considering that the Dirty Cop sheriff hired some of those crooks to attack Luz in the first (believing her to be All For One) he would have arrested her on trumped-up charges, even if she did have a good self-defense claim, assuming they were planning to take her alive. This whole situation was a Morton's Fork for Luz.
    • Or worse Camila would have gone to the store instead and get caught in the crossfire.
  • If Luz succeeds in killing the Wittebanes, the only thing stopping Emperor Belos from going Papa Wolf and Avenging the Villain is the Stable Time Loop.
  • How are the Owl House residents and Hexsquad gonna react when they find out Luz is a mass killer? How will it affect her romance with Amity?
  • How much of an influence did Shigaraki have on Luz when she wiped out the other two teams?
  • If Camila can be Killed Off for Real, does that mean Anyone Can Die in this story, like the Owl House residents?
  • All For One at one point mentioned he survived worst than being turned into Ludicrous Gibs. What did All Might do to him to be Killed Off for Real? No Body Left Behind?
  • How the hell was Tyler able to get someone like Jonah out prison when his horrific crime was all over the national news? Just much influence do the Wittebanes have?
  • What kind of Training from Hell did Emperor Belos put Hunter through to awaken 2 of his Quirks.
  • Since The Multiverse is a thing in this story, that means there could be scenarios where The Bad Guy Wins and Luz dies.
  • Its possible that All For One met the vestige of his mother. What does she think of him?
  • With her Longevity Quirk, Luz will outlive all friends (sans King and the Collector) unless she decides to give it to someone else.
  • With the destruction of Gravesfield due to Luz's battle with the superhuman assassins, its entirely possible that Fantastic Racism in the Human Realm will only get worse.
  • Emperor Belos will likely double down more on his Fantastic Racism towards witches, believing himself to have a family to return to with the Wittebanes after the Day of Unity. He likely won't take it well when they reject him for being made of magic.
  • All For One is able to influence Luz's emotions, so just how much is he responsible for Luz's less-than heroic actions, including her killings?
