This film contains examples of:
- Big Bad: Jack Whittier, the werewolf terrorizing Washington, D.C., although not by his choice.
- The End... Or Is It?: Jack is killed, but he managed to turn the President into a werewolf.
- Greater-Scope Villain: Lycanthropy is said to be caused by "the power of the pentagram."
- Our Werewolves Are Different: These ones are your standard Wolf Man deal, but they also have a star-shaped mark on their chests in human form.
- Too Dumb to Live: Seriously, when someone tells you that they're turning into a werewolf, you should probably listen to them.
- Tragic Monster: Jack, once he realizes he's the werewolf, begs to be killed.
